The band’s most remarkable quality is their ability to interact with the audience, the need to explain the point and background of their tracks… The playlist was skewed towards songs, yet sufficiently colorful in terms of instrumentals, varied and spontaneous… The wall-to-wall crowd received the concert with a growing enthusiasm and praise. In which I will join.

...Paabel melted together, quite naturally and easily, the repetition-based sound of Estonian folk music, the rhythmic twists and harmonic leaps of jazz, and the live energy of rock. Instruments and means of expression were switched smoothly. Occasionally they even made it out into the fields of free jazz, with momentary and surprising parallels emerging with King Crimson and Soundgarden…
